2. Cleaning: Using specialist cleaning methods and environmentally friendly products, we carefully restore your rug while maintaining its colour, texture, and overall quality. As part of our service, we also apply a professional moth protection treatment after cleaning, helping to guard against future infestations while remaining safe and gentle on the rug’s fibres.
3. Final inspection and ready for collection or delivery: Once your rug has been thoroughly cleaned and refreshed, it undergoes a detailed quality check to ensure it meets our highest standards before being carefully returned to your home, ready to bring warmth and character back to your space.
Moth Treatment
We also offer an optional moth treatment to help protect your rug from future damage. Our professional-grade moth spray protection, available at £20 per bottle, is applied in-house and is specially designed to prevent infestations while remaining safe for use on handmade rugs.
Rug Hire
At House of Vintage Rugs, we offer a rug hire service for all types of events and creative projects, including weddings, photoshoots, film and TV productions, exhibitions, and styling projects, with both short-term and long-term hire options available. Our collection includes authentic Persian, Afghan, Turkish, Moroccan, and Kilim rugs in a wide range of colours, patterns, and sizes, with small, medium, and large rugs available to suit any space. We also have an even wider selection available at our Perth branch. Hire prices start at just 20% of the rug’s sale value for up to 7 days, with custom hire durations and tailored rates available upon request. We also offer local collection and drop-off services for added convenience.
